hey there, Well i finally upgraded my audio system in my 2001 Lexus ES300 to a pioneer 3600bhs double din. I mean i love the unit but having issues with background white noise in my speakers?? I took it and had a professional shop install my unit as well. Was wondering if the 01 es300 is known to having the white noise/hmm in the background with aftermarket radios or should i go with a different brand radio?? Or is there a special wire or trick to eliminate this audio issue?? Someone i hope can help me out with this cause its driving me nuts!! Thanks,Jeff

is the background noise only audible when the volume is at 0 or at all times?

I'd ground the stereo to the chassis first instead of relying on the wiring harness. If that doesnt work, there are noise filters you can install, although I don't think it would work that well...
