Ok guys, version 2.1 has been released! It adds more settings and more thorough diagnostics. Please update
(if you were using the beta version, thanks for your support, and please update to the final release version from Google Play Store).
The price of the Pro Package is now US $19.99. (existing customers get full access to the new stuff at no additional cost.)
If any of you also have a VW or Audi, this release also adds customization support for a bunch of new VW and Audi models. See http://www.caristaapp.com/supported-vehicles/

Yup, working on it as we speak. We can already do diagnostics on some of the ECUs like ABS, airbag, etc. on those earlier models. About to start looking into customizations next.
In parallel, we're also starting development of an iOS version. If you're interested in hearing about updates on that, please sign up here: http://www.caristaapp.com/ios/

It's looking pretty good - we don't have a working prototype yet, but the data we're seeing is good and we should be able to implement customizations soon. Probably by the end of next week. (not as a release version, but as a prototype and maybe an alpha-test version that you guys can try). I'll keep this thread updated.

Hold your horses guys
It's looking good - we can communicate with the ECUs very stably, and the diagnostics part is almost done. Still looking into how to do customizations. A lot of the Toyotas that we're testing on don't support any customizations, so that slows us down. But it's coming soon. I think we'll have a prototype available for download that can do diagnostics within a few days. The older protocol is proving a lot less unified than the newer one (CAN) that we already support... so there is a lot of custom configuration we need to do per type of ECU and maybe even per model.
