3D Printed Nexus 4 Cradle
Hey Y'all,
Just wanted to post my first draft of a 3D printed Nexus 4 cradle that houses a version 2 Nexus wireless charger for my 09 IS 250. I built the mount to snap into the ashtray, so I can remove the ashtray and unsnap the mount at any time. Nexus V2 charger has a magnetic grip to it, so the cradle just needs to hold the base to be secure. I actually made it a bit too tight, so next draft will be wide enough to slide the phone in one handed. I also found a bluetooth controller that skips tracks, adjust volume, and turns on/off the MP3 player on my phone. The OEM housing sucked. Looked like a crappy keychain. Printed a new housing and attached a suction cup. Not sure how to embed videos here, so here is a screen grab and follow the link to Youtube for video. Let me know what you guys think.
