Stock sub on aftermarket amp is possible but useless it'll blow very quickly from over powering....Also the 2000 gs...If you run aftermarket amps to run ur system it's recommend you hard wire to the door speakers stock wiring isnt the best for aftermarket applications and obviously doesn't run to your trunk...Two choices is to spice factory wiring before the door or run ur own....more work to run ur own but worth it in the long run....

yeah i may just do that...ill take plenty of pics so everyone can see...now im just waiting on some money... believe it or not being an aircraft mechanic doesn't pay well. last question. can i use stock wires to the speakers? or do i have to run new?

You'll need to run new and it's preferred when switching to aftermarket amp stock wiring is old and running the wrong direction....If you run into any issues getting wires through the door just use an old wire hanger to feed the wires through also avoid running speaker wires to close to power wires to your amp to avoid ground loops and alternator whine in your system....good rule of thumb I've always used is to run power wires close to the middle of the car as possible to avoid interference with anything electronic
