the title says it all.. what's the best sub to match with this amp?

it can run 500 watts RMS @ 2ohm or 350 watts RMS @ 4ohm.

12 inch subs preferred, unless you know of a crazy 10 that will hit harder ;-)

thats a personal preference question.. in a single sub set up... as long as the rms on the sub is (a true 500w) the same as the amp you should be fine..but i'd go with a brand name higher end sub just to be safe: rockford,jl,kicker,mmats.mtx etc (also digital design,sundown audio and image dynamics) no pioneer or sony though..

depends what you're going for... SPL OR SQ ... my preference is low bass that you can hear blocks away. I hate the punch on the trunk like jacky chan is kicking in your trunk. I have the old school eclipse sw8 series that I ran with it and love it. would never sell my eclipse sub. if you ask around (knowledgable car audio peoples), they will tell you eclipse was one of the best. although discontinued, you can always find them on ebay or craigslist. eclipse formed from tc sounds. best subs imo. but if you like that punch, i'd go with jl or old school orion hhca. pricey as well. no new speakers tops old school stuff lol
