in a word yes...BUT you must be responsible about it... if u blast the stereo nonstop all the time you will have issues.. i suggest getting an optima SC34U (red top battery 1000cca)to replace the oem under the hood.. as they have the best recharge rate in the car audio setting..then i'd say spend about 20-30% of the time you spend in the car with the volume at lower levels allowing the battery to regain a proper charge level.. so if u spend an hr in your car.. blast for 45 mins but allow AT LEAST 15mins at low volume to let the battery recharge.. if you follow these guidelines you should be golden...no issues at all...

PRACTICE SAFE SOUND...

ALSO ALWAYS USE 100% OFC(OXYGEN FREE COPPER) WIRE NOT CCA(COPPER COLOR/CLAD ALUMINUM)...if it says cca on it..dont use it... and if your amp is truly 1000watts then u must have 4awg wire as well.....

good luck

This depends a great deal on the efficiency of the amp(s) that you are going to use to produce the 1,000 watts. I have run amps past vehicles that only consumed moderate amperage and others (with the same output rating) that were rather "power hungry". What are you planning on running in your car?

Oh , sorry for the laet response, im planning on running a rockford fosgate T1000 monoblock.

My goal is to be running 1000 watts rms at 1ohm

Are any of you guys familiar with rockford fosgate products?

I have access to a fosgate P1000 monoblock, for some reason my audioi guy said hes not convinced the P1000 will work, that i need the T1000, I dont get it but im trusting him.
