Question Factory Alarm VS Aftermarket Alarm

Question:
Can you wire the Aftermarket alarm Siren Output to the Factory Horn?

Reason i want to do this is because the 6 Tone Siren sounds terrible to me.
I rather not wire in this siren.

Ive search for the factory horn wire in the steering column but no luck.
Anyone with more knowledge chime in please.

.
Terrible sounding yes, but how often do you plan to have to hear it?

I'm sure it can be done though.....

just tap the horn output on the alarm to the horn on the steering wheel... you will have to take apart the column...

the only thing is i'm not sure the siren output is a pusled signal so when the alarm is tripped, it may just blare the horn with no breaks...

I looked at alot of diagrams/wire charts
It says the Green/Red Wire = Horn on the steering wheel harness.
I T-Taped but no sound
So in search of that wire.

Its Pulsed i can hear my aftermarket alarm pulse.

can you honk your horn without the key being on? if not then you need to get to the relay for the horn honk.
also many alarms have a horn honk output, the siren will be a constant signal so the horn will just honk continuously.

exactly.. most aftermarket alarms have a pulsed horn honk output..that can be used instead of a siren output..some alarm siren outputs can be switched to pulsed also so if need be you can tie the siren output to the horn side of the horn relay... if the horn does trigger with the key off.. then u have a high current horn trigger and need to add a relay to the negative horn lead.. with its input side to a solid ground...
