No such thing as a "perfect fit" as most of the modern options require a trim kit.

I went with the Pioneer X940 (replaced now by the X950) and added the backup camera option.

Any Pioneer double din head unit will do the trick. Check the audio section more closely.

Actually, the AVIC-X9xxBT is the second from the top of the line Pioneer. I bought the 2012-2013 model X940 since it has a "volume ****" (that the 2013-2014 model eliminated).

The top model Z130 (now Z140) is an almost all touch screen model (and more expensive).

I've run Pioneer head units in my cars since 1987. In fact, I became a fan because my cousin had a Pioneer in his new '84 Camero. I also have 3 different Pioneer home receivers with the oldest dating back to 1988. I use the '92 VSX-4800 daily in my office.

This would be something that i would consider.. How do get a harness to fit the GS?

Wiring harness is usually separate from the install kit. I agree with 2jzsc4, don't buy from Wal-Mart. Their models are usually stripped down from the other retail models. For my ES-350 install, I went with Crutchfield because they guaranteed that the adapter to make the Pioneer work with the factory amp would work even though the manufacturer did not list any ES models.

I would probably buy from Amazon or Crutchfield.. Need that harness though so don't think Amazon offers that.

i always ask my customers what phone they have 1st.. 2nd what features will they actually use? (navagation, bluetooth, ipod or iphone, siriusxm, usb, pandora, apps etc) then do your research to see what company offers those features at the best price.. BUT also remember there maybe features that u may want later so think of upgradable units...

my top sellers (with the least returns with issues) are Pioneer,JVC,& Kenwood

fyi if u have an Iphone5 expect to add $200 in additional cables to make it work with any headunit you buy.. also pioneers app radio3 is now available which works awesome for android phones..

good luck
