I had my factory stereo head unit removed by my mechanic (he was doing some other work and offered to remove it @ no charge). I sent it into Factory Radio Service and had them install a new LCD and 3.5mm Aux Input. Got the unit back from them and need to install it myself (my mechanic is closed until next week and I'm headed out of town).

It looks pretty straight forward but I do have a question about one thing. There is a wire that I'm not sure about… I've highlighted it in the photo below. Does that plug into the back of the stereo unit?

Figured it out. The connector in the picture was for the antenna and it did plug into the larger bottom connector I had circled in the back of the unit… there was also a smaller connector not shown in the picture that plugged into the smaller top connector I had circled in the back of the unit. Got it all reinstalled and it's working great.

Now I just need to figure out how to disable the power antenna. The aux in jack uses the radio which means that any time I'm using it the antenna is up. Since I never listen to the radio I'd rather just disable it in the down position so I don't have to turn off the stereo every time I go thru a car wash (also just like the looks of the car better without the antenna sticking up).
