Anyone mount ipads in headrest?
I have been thinking about mounting mine and my wife's ipads on the back of our headrests for long trips with the kids. Some people mount the more "formal" headrest monitors, but that is overkill for the frequency I would use them and I eon't want to deal with wiring, installation, etc..
A search reveals several brackets out there, does anyone have a particular one they'd rec? I am thinking of a simple ipad solution with headphones per unit / per kid.
I originally thought you could run the audio from one of the ipads to an aux jack to provide "surround sound", but that would require both ipads to be perfectly in synch for the video to match up. You can mirror ipads, but that requires Airplay, which requires AppleTv, which requires Wifi, which is not an option in the car.
Any thoughts, ideas?
