Question How to bypass factory amp

Hello, clubbers!

First when i did start my double din integration on my RX330 (2004). My first problem was VSS, but thanks to club member, i found it, but now i found ou that i have factory amp=( . I dont want to by special harness for 160$, i just want to plug and play ( Cut and connect). Can i bypass my amp without any special harness or higher physics?

That's as easy as running the wires directly from the new head unit to the speakers.

I'm not familiar with your model Lexus but mine used a PAC digital amp adapter that cost about $60. It also interfaced with another PAC adapter to allow me to keep steering wheel controls. It was more than worth the money compared to running new wires.

Ni, there is no pac harness for rx330. But what if i will buy cheap aftermarket amp and just replace with my factory amp? I will still need to run new wires to speakers?

You would probably have to skip the factory wiring and run RCAs to the new amp. Then use the factory speaker wires to the speakers.

What is your definition of a cheap, aftermarket amp? Need a 4 channel model? Rated wattage? What about something to power a sub?
