Default 2GS430 steering controls with double din?

Is it possible to use the steering volume controls with an aftermarket double din?

I've got everything but I just dont want to lose my steering controls.

Thank YOU

I've been a dealer of scoche, Metra and PAC products for years myself and i haven't found any solution for the 2GS so far. Found a German supplier that had an interface for the facelift 2GS, but it turns out that it was only for converting the digital ignition-on signal to a regular ignition signal, and not a full blown headunit replacement interface as we're more used to here in Europe.

Edit: Come to think of it, try contacting Metra about getting their ASWC interface to work as their tech guys are VERY hands on, and very eager to deliver

At the moment I'm using a Clarion NX-501E (euro version) BUT...being an owner of a 1999 GS300, i havent got any steeringwheel control buttons either

I was looking into this a while back because i was thinking of swapping out the old style steeringwheel for facelift type, and wanted to add the stereo buttons in the process. But the project was left hanging...

What radio are you thinking about getting?

ok but if u have no steering wheel controls how do u plan to connect the harness to the steering control module?even if u add a new wheel..you'd have to change the entire column??? the vehicles not wired for it an wont have the proper wires comin from the column unless u swapped it out... that said if a vehicle did have steering buttons a toyota from a similar yr "should" work in its place..
