Rear view camera will be installed off to the left side where white circle is because in the center above plate frame is the Laser detector for my Escort radar detector 8500ix.

2nd pic is the (3) Cashe Line drivers and Kenwood amp all hidden.

I haven't researched the Lexus electrical system in detail enough to see what AMP alternator that comes from the factory, but I'm guessing an upgraded aftermarket or re-spun unit won't be necessary here?

I thought caps were more of a band-aid for an under-powered sound systems...at least that's what my father said, and he's only been a free-lance electrical engineer for 25 yrs. LOL!

Can't wait to see the outcome bro! Is the design/layout your brainchild or your boys at the shop?

Capacitors store electricity for the amps, and are quite useful. When used with a high powered battery, they are quite often more than capable of supplying the amp/s with the current that they need during heavy loads. Also, you must consider the efficiency of the amps that are being used. I would think that this set up would be fine, with the electrical that he has planned.
Are you running the 3-way components in front and rear doors, or coaxials in the back? I remember you mentioning that in one of my threads before. Going to sound great either way!
Good luck with the build, should be very nice!

I'm just doing the front 3 ways for now and leaving the rear doors under stock power. I'm going to listen to it first and decide. I know you changed your rears, but they are just fill. I did read you liked them. I guess I can't say I don't want to spend any more money when I've gone this far!

The W7 can handle 1000W RMS and 2000Max. JL Audio was supposed to come out with a 1200/1HD but haven't released it. The woofer manual recommends their 750/1 or the 1000/1. I didn't want the HUGE amp! Plus the HD amps are digital.

I can't price it. It depends on the type of setup you want and the labor rate.

I didn't think your system can get any better than it was.

Great list of components, looks very detailed and well put together. Are you doing the big 3?
