Default URGET: Speaker and amp does not work

I touched the negative and positive on the amp on an is250, and now the speakers do not play anything. When i go to the navi, it doesnt even beep when i press the tabs. Is there a fuse that i blew or do you guys know how i can get it working again. thanks in advance.

I had the same problem. Check the fuse box next to the battery. I dont remember exactly which fuse it is but check your manual, it states which fuse it is. Be sure to check both the fuses (there are two fuses for audio).

You either blew the fuse for the amp or the output on the amp.

You could have blown just the sub out. Disconnect the sub output wires. Use a digital multimeter set to AC Voltage and check to see if you have output. It will be AC voltage that varies or fluctuates.

Yeah I already did that. It was reading 2V max when music was pretty loud and there was bass in the song. That's like 1 watt of power or something minuscule.

You should get readings that peak higher than 2v. It seems very possible that the sub output is popped.
