installed after market stereo /humm thru speakers?

I had this problem when installing my new Clarion Deck. There is actually a ground point on the bottom left of where the metal bracket screws in. I grounded the metal housing of my new deck to it and it solved the ground loop problem.

i can name that tune in 4 humm's
had a pro install a Pioneer AVIC-7200NEX yesterday. and it had the hum. first he tried a new ground. no help. then he managed to dig up 2, ground loop isolators. put them in and it seemed to be fine. after he left i noticed that the hum was back. also the rear speakers were messed up when selecting just one or the other. he hasn't returned my emails yet. i think he's dodging me. any thoughts as to what the trouble might be? thanks!
