Default 2002 Sc 430 keyless entry does not work

Hi,
I cant use the keyless entry to open the doors. At first I thought it was the battery, so I had it replaced. However, the keyless entry still does not work. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

What a bummer.
Even to this day, Lexus hasn't mandated keyless entry/ignition for the SCs.

Good luck bro.

I'm assuming you're talking about using the remote built into the key? Does that light on the key come on when you hit a button? If so, if you press unlock twice does the passenger door open? If it does I would guess it's the driver's door lock assembly. If nothing works, you can get your dealer to check your key. They should have a tool that measures signal strength of the key.
