I have a 2001 GS300 and my CD player went kaput about 2 years ago. I now have my Ipod and I want to try to use it in the car. I have the tape deck, but that is annoying me to no end because it will eject it from time to time.

I have 2 questions.

1 - Will I be able to use a Grom type kit in my car without the CD player working?

2 - If the question to the above is no, do I have any other options?
