Default 2002 Sc430. Pioneer Avic-z3 w/ navtool

I've finally have replaced my OEM Head Unit with the Pioneer Avic-Z3. The navtool bypass use to work perfectly. Now that the OEM HU is replaced the Navigation screen does not function properly. I've given it 12v power from the navigation unit and it turns on but no video. The lexus logo loads and then a blank screen thereafter. Looking at the navigation schematics, I believe it has something to do with the TX+/TX- wires that originate from the head unit. What do these wires exactly do? Anybody else have similar issues replacing the OEM HU with an aftermarket? Any other ways to get the navi-screen to working?

Thanks,
Gun
