David,
All in all not to much. The biggest problem has been getting equipment at different times. If I would have had everything all at once it would have gone a lot faster. Still waiting on DVD changer and Alpine optical cable. Once that gets here I'm basically done except for the new Metra mounting kit. I'll probably mod it too since i'm not to much of a fan of plastic brackets.

Alpine DHA-S690 DVD changer installed in the glove box. Had to make some small mods to the back. Optical cable was a big problem. Couldn't find one that would fit nor could I dremel one down to fit good. Found an original Alpine optical cable off e-bay. Fit and worked perfectly. Going to install tommorow.

any pictures on how the trunk is now? I just changed my setup and Im thinking of doing a tire well enclosure too, only i want to glass it with a 10w7. I need to go take some measurements to see what i can fit in there....I still have my spare tire there and need to get rid of it.

Awesome!!! I have the same unit, I think though yours is the W505 and mine is the W205 but they are the same size so then this should work great for mine.

2.5t,
I could have spaced it back further but there would have been a gap when my deck opened up for cd mode. I could have bought a couple of ISO double din trim pieces and filled the gap but I actually like the way it sits now.

Now that it is complete I must say... SPECTACULAR! I wanted to see it all pretty and done. Just a fantastic job.
PS- the Eclipse Navi in my IS300 sits out a little like that.

I would think having it flush all the time was better than a gap only when loading a CD

Didn't want you guys to think I wasn't doing anything. Finished the rack in back and did a lot of dynamatting. Covered the tank so when I put the cover back on you couldn't see anything. Still need to do the mesh in the cutouts of the tank cover but still allow the amps to breathe.
Got some new toys from Troy. Got a spare set of pillars to start molding for the Morel Piccolos. The doors just weren't going to cut it. Imaging should be a lot better also.
JL 13TW5 has come out. After a month of listening to it and a month of listening to my JL 12w6v2 I've decided that I'll keep the twelve. I like the TW5 but the 12w6v2 is just more musical.

Going to do some perforated metal to fill in the gaps of the vents in the tank cover. It will allow the amps to breathe and still show them off a little.

Going to start on the pillars soon. The piccolos should sound fantastic up there.
