To anybody that needs a cheap fix for a burned out DVD OEM player as discussed in this forum. Go buy a toyota version off ebay. I bought one that come out of a Tundra but they were also factory installed in the Sequoia's as well. It plugged right in to the harness and worked. I was able to buy one for < $100

My DVD stopped working several months ago. I found a Sequoia / Tundra DVD on eBay for $100. It came with a silver Toyota faceplate. You can remove that and add your old black Lexus faceplate. Everything plugged right in, install took less than 30mins and you'd never know it was replaced. Very easy and very cheap solution!

helo is there any step by step instruction on how to remove the dvd player, trim, the doors. in my lexus the door will not open all the way so i cannot insert a dvd in the player because of the doors please help thank you
