How many watts can the alternator handle?
I wanna run about 1000-1400 watts rms of power. Will the stock sc300 alternator be able to handle it?

i run 1000 watts rms on my stock gs430 alt.... u will need a capacitor tho. or the cabin lights on the radio and the tail lightswill dim.. i havent noticed any dimming in my headlights but there HIDs... i went with a 1 farad cap and it seems to be sufficient

The stock alternator on my GS3 is weak.. its always been weak.. the lights use to dim when the radiator fan kicked in... I'm currently running 500w to my subs and about 400 to my components... and yes my lights dim with each hit of bass... I do have a couple of caps that I didn't install, I'm probably just going to double up on a set of kinetic batteries when it comes time to upgrade.
