Default Reactivating Sirius

I just purchased a CPO 2005 ES330 which has the dealer installed Sirius satellite radio. When I bought it I had the dealer cut out the SIGMA antenna because it kept falling off the windshield while I was test driving it. Thanks to some other threads here I was able to locate the control unit under the passenger seat and figured I would just plug in a new antenna.

The problem, though, is that as of last night the system doesn't recognize the Sirius radio anymore. I know I won't get service because it isn't activated yet, but it would at least cycle through the SAT1, SAT2, etc. when I pressed the AM-SAT button (it just had a message that said it is deactivated). Now, when I press the AM button, it just stays on AM. Will it recognize the SAT when I plug in a new antenna? Do I need to reset the unit somehow? Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Also, once I get this thing back up, is there a way to pull the ID/ESN from the headunit for activation (some button combo)? Since the box is under the seat, I can't see the sticker with the ID.

BTW, it is the 6-disc changer without ML.

Update:

The SAT is available again, I just disconnected and reconnected the unit a bunch of times. Also, the ID/ESN is given on channel 255 of the display.
