Requesting a wire color identification on 2000 ES300 radio harness
I have been trying to find the answer for this for awhile now with no luck. I need for someone to identify what these wires are on this 2000 Lexus ES300 wiring harness. The radio is a Pioneer stock radio.
the right wiring harness is the one, not the left
The starred (**) ones are grouped together off to to the left in the last picture. I'm assuming these are the speaker wires.
Top row from right to left...
1. Blue/Yellow Stripe/2 grey dots
2. Green/2 grey dots
3. White/2 grey dots
4. Empty
5. Empty
6. Yellow/Black Stripe/2 grey dots
7. **Brown/2 grey dots
8. **Black/2 grey dots
9. **Blue/2 grey dots
10. **Grey
Bottom row from right to left..
11. Grey/2 grey dots
12. White/Green Stripe/2 grey dots
13. Empty
14. Empty
15. Empty
16. **White/2 grey dots
17. **Red/2 grey dots
18. **Green/2 grey dots
19. **Yellow/2 grey dots
20. Brown/ 2 grey dots
Any help would be appreciated.

im assuming your hooking up a new deck, but this will make your life alot easier. you unplug the harness before the amp and hook the harness to this which will give you all nessary wires http://cgi.ebay.com/Car-Stereo-Radio...ayphotohosting

If your installing a new head unit, I'd advise you to by-pass the amp and use those wiring.

i dont believe it does, the diagram you provided might be for the 1997 but i dont have the plug in front of me right now.
i think i got everything figured out for now, i just need to find out if im going to need a Power Antenna pin to make the radio work since the 97 harness has it but the 00-01 harness doesnt. also just need to match up ground wires. thanks for your help man
