I've got an 04 SC430.

A couple days ago I was driving and the Navi unit was working fine. I parked and waited for less than 10 minutes with the key in the ignition so i could listen to the radio. The Navi was on then. it was a bright sunny day and the sun was on the lcd.

When I started the car, the navi lcd wasn't on. The screen is just black and nothing happens when i touch the lcd. i'm able to push buttons (destination, map, ect) and i hear the beep.

it's been two days now and the screen hasn't turned back on.

can someone help me?

I don't have an SC, I do have an 04 LS and my screen has been acting tempermental as well. It's like it has a mind of its own. I took it to the dealer in Houston and they told me the screen is malfuntioning. (Obviously) I was quoted $2500 for repair and that's because the Sr. Service Manager is a very good friend of mine and was willing to do it at cost. I didn't have to pay for the diagnosis but what you are experiencing is exactly what I have been dealing with. Maybe you can get someone at the dealer in your area to confirm this for you.
