Hi guys,

Well I've been living with this for about 3 months and it's starting to really drive me up the wall. I decided to post this here as I might get a better response but if the mods feel like moving it please do.

OK. The factory Soarer sound system (in mine) is an amplified seven speaker set-up (front tweeters/mids, rears and subwoofer) with a CD player (single disc).

An Alpine MP3 player was wired into the original wiring (spliced into the wires). The Alpine is now dead so I pulled it out and disconnected the wiring for the Alpine unit, esentially leaving the factory wiring as is (including shielding) but now there's nothing. Not sure if it's the wiring or the source unit, all I can see is that the source unit lights are all working. All connectors are connected (including the connector for the power switch ). But alas, nothing

If I could afford a whole new system I would but I can't afford it, so if I could at least get my stock system going I'd be more than appreciative.

I've also tried a search but didn't find anything related... if anyone has any info that'd be great.
