Adding aftermarket rear DVD to GX470?
I have searched this forum for a good long time, but I am still confused on what is possible as far as adding an aftermarket rear dvd screen. My confusion comes from the Mark Levinson or non-ML talk.
What I have is a 2006 Lexus GX470 with Navigation and Mark Levinson with the cd changer in glove box.
What I want to do is add a flip down screen for the rear or maybe headrest screens instead.
On the GXs with factory dvd, where is the dvd player located? Where would an aftermarket player be located?
My dream setup would be aftermarket flip down screen with dvd player tied into the Nav screen. DVD player able to be controlled at Nav screen and even possibly watched on Nav screen. I have read about all of the DVD bypass stuff, but this applies to GXs with DVD already installed. First things first. How much of what I want is possible?
