I'm in a process of installing an in-dash navigation on my 92 SC. It has BASE Pioneer factory head unit.
The previous owner probably installed this( That blue piece with red/blue/ black wires). It is some type of resistor, I'm not sure. It is hooked up into one wire which is the " Illumination ".
I searched into TechnicalHelp4U and found out it is hooked up in "C" socket--
"C5- Illumination- to light rheostat control"
What does it do? I want to take it off if necessary.
I can see them. IS there anyway u can slip the blue thing off? If i remeber correctly the blue wire would be remote turn on for an amplfier. Black is ground, and red is usually the turn on from the ignition.

Blue and red wire is connected to 1 wire ( Illumination, look above ). Black is ground. Just don't know what it does.
