Can someone tell me if this is an easy fix??
The problem was intermittant, in that if I powered down the car and back up it would work again. Not anymore, dead as a door nail with nothing but the blinking light when I try to set it.

Disconnect the battery for 5 mins?? That is my next step. That unually fixes alarm function problems...

Please advise. If taken to the dealer, what will it cost me for this whopper!!
