Default problem 2000 rx300. No volume on radio.

Hello all,

I have the lexus premium sound system and a few days ago the volume just stopped working. Also, when I depress the button for bass, mid and treble the setting is frozen at "0". any thoughts? I have a feeling it is the amp but would love some feedback before i go trolling for a stock replacement. Outside of this, all looks fine on the display.

Thanks in advance.

M

Default having same problem..

I am also having the same problem with my RX300.. its a 2000 and has the factory base Pioneer system... I have no sound from radio, cd, or tape... bass, treble, fade, and mid are all stuck at 0.... from what i am finding online it seems to be the amp under the rear seat/cargo area? can anyone confirm this for me?

yes, the amp is under the rear seat. this should help you find it: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...he-amp-at.html

check fuse for radio and amp......if all is well.....shut off car and pull both. then remove battery terminal (excessive? yes I know)

wait a few minutes then plug all back in....still no power? grab a multimeter and test out the power/switched on the amp. if there is power, problem = amp
