Question

A week after picking up my car I found that the speaker cover on the drivers side A pillar is loose-- I can pull the thing back to towards the rear of the car and take it off.

I have been trying to put it back in place -- first, by slipping the bracket in near the windshield, then applying forward pressure on the back of the mesh cover to have it snap into the hole. Am I doing this wrong?

Thought it would be a slam dunk-- perhaps I need to apply more pressure. Thoughts? Help! It's been constantly raining here in LA and I don't want to have to worry about the cover falling off the next time I open the door.

Thanks for the help any of you can give me.

James,
that's exactly how you are supposed to remove the grille if you were to change the tweets inside... Have you considered changing out your speakers? Maybe it's a sign... 8) LOL

Anyway, you should just be able to push it back in (slide it back in toward the front of the vehicle...) if it is still loose, there may be something bent or not catching right...is your car still under warranty? I'd complain!!
