Tube Amps?
I have a great line on 2 used BUTLER amps that im thinking of picking up for my 'other' car.... Has anyone used these or any other Vacuum Tube car audio amps??

They're great amps but they're not meant for accuracy. Somewhere around 1 percent distortion. The "warm" sound is from distortion but some people actually like the sound. Plus the life of the amps are uncertain due to the tubes. According to Butler/Tube Driver, the tubes are run at 5% of their capability so they'll last a while. If you're changing out the tubes, be sure to get matched pairs. If memory serves me right, they're 6L6's.
Listen to them if possible before buying them.

Thanks!!!!! I put in one of 'my' CDs (heavy,fast bass lines)to take a listen the other day.
Not really what i was after in my car since im more into hiphop music.......BUT... i can see why people would like them in the house
