Default Great link :: System Design Assistant

This website is great for those who are unsure about power wire sizes and fuse sizes:

Nice. Looks pretty useful. We'll assume for now that the calculations are technically correct, until/unless we find a problem with it. I tried a few numbers and the results looked reasonable.

Default Check this for help.

*Mods I'm not sure if this is against the forum rules, If it is please delete it*

I found this site that is very helpful for anyone who wants to do their own Audio/Video installs, from building fiberglass boxes to kick panels and custom center consoles. security systems headunit installs, amp installs.

http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/default.asp

If this isnt against CL's rules I think it should be made a sticky!

Noop, as long as it isn't for advertising and promotion and helps our members out its generally OK. I've added to an existing sticky for other linked resources.

Thirded...I'm a member and a supporter of the DIYMA approach. Our classified's section is awesome as well, and now we have AMPGUTS on the site.

After responding in another thread I think maybe this might be a good idea. I know most of the stuff here is DIY however I think that some members would benefit from recommendations of places were they can get good work done. As we know some places have more compatible installers for different components. What did you all think? Maybe its own thread?
Could follow this format:
Location: City, State/Province.. I guess Country
What they had installed.
Installer if they remember.
Rating i.e 5 out 5 or highly recommend.

The only guy I'd ever go to is Bing at www.simplicityinsound.com . I am 100% DIY but if I weren't, I'd arrange for my vehicle to be done there.

Waking up an old thread.... I am a member on DIYMA.com and had downloaded these discs quite some time ago. These are amazing SQ samples and anyone with a decent audio system will certainly appreciate them. Playing these tracks will let you know just how good or bad your system really is. As the OP for this thread said, enjoy......
