This forum comes off very retarded sometimes, I don't want to know how to hardwire it into a LEXUS, I want to know how to hardwire it in a SC, just an SC, custom installs, wiring places, mounting locations...
I don't want some guy with an GS/RX/IS etc... giving me insight I want to know about the SC and just the SC, why is that so hard to comprehend?
Aren't their moderators with some sense of logical reasoning that if someone has an SC he wants answers from the SC guys, not generic folks with lexus's..

The tone of your comments are not appreciated or helpful.
The moderators are not responsible for the content on the site, the members (LIKE YOU) are. We're volunteers that help guide folks to the right answers if we don't have them. I linked you posts to hardwiring on SC models, not GS not RX, not LS, etc but I guess you didn't read that far. I didn't try to give you any insight to hardwiring on a GS or I would have given you other links with much better pics and directions.
Granted those I linked aren't the best in the world, but its all I found in the five minutes of searching I did. I'll try to find some more, but honestly, I don't appreciate your flippant replies after I went to the trouble to try to help you.
The forums are the primary source of knowledge on this forum; we also have a library that does contain some formal DIYs but unfortunately not the one you are looking for.

Since you are complaining about not having a good writeup - or having a 'guy with a GS' help you with the search tool (which works the same no matter what Lexus you own BTW ), how about taking some pictures when you do the writeup and share it with the community?

Dude, look at the quality of the writeups offered on audiworld versus your post on here..
seriously, grow up, I've been on forums for a long time, and I find it hard to believe that my A4 made from 1997-01 has more information available than a 12year old SC400..
http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec102.shtml
This is just an EXAMPLE of one of the many write-ups users have submitted.
I ask a simple question on here and I am sent to a bunch of postings, yes I search otherwise as well, with out of focus pictures and barely any info.

I understand what some other forums have to offer in the way of writeups and FAQs, we simply aren't there yet. If we had them I would have referred them to you right away. The CL library I linked has nearly as many items as the Audiworld and as good a quality, but for many more different models. We hope to grow this FAQ in the future through contributions of our mature members.
So... why don't you contribute something instead of whining about it? If you want to discuss further, you can PM me.

I am going to continue to edit this thread and paste in additional threads that might help you I find.
Lex400sc might have a writeup on his SC FAQ, but it is down right now (worth mentioning regardless)
http://www.intellexual.net/faq.html
Potential issue with tapping sunroof

and since you think I'm linking GS threads above, here are a couple of decent ones with writeups for hardwiring the V1 in GS than you *might* find helpful
