The cd changer is in the trunk of my '96 ES300, but I don't have the gizmo to put cd's in in order to use it. Did Poineer make it in '96? and where's the cheapest place to get one?

The CD cartridge is the same as one of the Pioneer home cartridges used in a 6-CD changer. Probably Circuit City or a similar retail store can help.

I believe it uses a pioneer jd-t612 cartridge, you should be able to pick one up a local pioneer dealer. Just call a few in your area. If not they are on ebay all the time. I think they go for about $20.00 .
