Does anyone know where I can get a real good Double Din replacement radio for a lexus. I want optimum peformance from my audio system and I dont want a space below the radio. What is the best possible unit that I can put in there and how can I get one?????????

The best double din as far as I know is not out yet, alpine is coming out with one later this summer that should be pretty good. It has the all of the acoustic parameters programmed for most japanese cars built in, you just type in the type of car you have and it will adjust the time correction for each factory speaker location automatically. I believe it will retail for around 1400.00-1500.00

Conceptually speaking, this type of feature sounds like a "HOT" idea.....I just hope Alpine doesn't make it as hot as their other Sound Processing devices (insert sarcastic grin here!! LOL)

What type of Lexus do you have? There is what I believe to be the world's best double din. Eclipse 7301. There is actually one for sale on EBay. The guy has it in his SC and would probably give you all the brackets with it. EASY INSTALL. It is a video screen and the face folds down with a tape/cd player behind it. Check it out.
