Hi guys, I have the stock pioneer system in my GS and the bass appears to be coming out from the woofers instead of the subwoofer in the back.

You know the kind of bass thats not below 200hz but sort of a humming bass found in many R&B and pop music and my woofers will make a distorted noise ( it sounds almost like a rattling noise ) and it sound really bad. When I play the same CD in my home system the woofers handled the bass nicely.

My point is there any way to reduce this distortion without doing anything major? It seems to help when I tone down the mid to about -3 to -5 but it still sound very bad. I am wondering if Lexus purposly made the stock system crappy to make Mark Levinsion package more appealing or the stock amp is just a plain cheapo.

Thanks for any help in advance.

just adding a thing...

It doesn't happen all the time only on certain songs and not on all CDs.
