Unhappy Please help with my electrical problem

When I tried to install an mp3 player for my '92 ES300 by myself , I accidentaly cut out a few wires

The next day, the mechanic guy at my local shop coudln't install the mp3 player for me. There was electric going to the mp3 player, but it was unable to turn on. I'm pretty sure this wasn't because of my mp3 player since I have tried to install another new cd player and it didn't work either.

Anyhow, what should I do? It seems the guys at my local shop are clueless when it comes to the wiring scheme

P.S. I'm also unable to use the "reset" button next to the odometer reading. What should I do to fix this?

Default A few wires?

How do you accidently cut a few wires?...never mind.... don't answer that.

You need to re-connect what ever wires that you cut by soldering them and wrapping in heatshrink tape, and then go find a new audio installer. If you must, then take him the pin-outs of all the connectors comming from the dash, which can be found invarious links on this site....I've run into them in my searches.

Good luck.......and please....put those scissors down.....your makin' me nervous
