Which models? How much do you want to spend? Are you more into loud or good sounding music? Is everything else stock right now?

I'm assuming he is referring to the JL Audio IB4 10". Out of your choices, I would go with the JL IB4. But there are other IB subs' that I would also keep in mind. Maybe you should look into the Image Dynamics IDMAX or maybe an OZ Audio IB subwoofer.

ls400 how are they compared to the jl ib4. the reason why i gave these 2 choices is because those 2 subs are the only free air subs i've seen people use on the sc3/400.

Im installing my Pioneer 10" free air sub next week, i'll tell you how it sounds. So far, i have the Infinity Kappa's 5 1/4" front components and 6 1/2" 3 ways on the rears, powered by a 6 channel PPI Amp. I've installed the fronts and sounds alot better than the stocks, im waiting to install all the rears when spring break comes along. Im not looking to shatter people's ears, just want it to sound nice and clean.

I would go with the IDMAX. Properly powered, it has more SQ and more output than either the JL Audio or Pioneer.
