So this morning I walk up to my car and realize the left tip is no longer there. It either fell off or someone stole it. Does anyone know where I can find the stock tip? Maybe this is a sign to just get a new after market exhaust system

Gonna check tomorrow with my dealership but figured I'd try here anyway

Unless you hit a curb without knowing it and it eventually fell off, I'd suspect foul play (but then why not take the second tip while they're at it )

I'd suspect the cost to replace the tip will sway you to get a new axle back exhaust. Some good ones like Magnaflow for under $700 or JoeZ (pricier) but best sounding to my ears! (I have the Magnaflow).

Yeah im going to check with my guy @ the dealer tomorrow. I appreciate the part number, i was checking myL but wasn't sure what exactly to look for w/o pictures.

I was thinking the same thing on both accounts.. someone must've have taken it & i should look into an exhaust system haha

Spoke with South County Lexus and they said they'll replace it for no charge under the warranty. Got an appointment for Wednesday!

I though it doesn't look bad from picture. After market exhaust will look better.

I've seen a few cars missing a tip. Personally, I don't like the fact that the tips aren't fixed as part of the muffler.

Did you report it to the police? Maybe some person is driving around in an old beater with you exhaust tip?

Mine fell off too, same side .... Curious. Dealer blamed me for putting a dent in the tail pipe at the spot wher the the tip fastens to the pipe .... Uh, I don't think so

Hmmm... Dealer blamed you for the damage. Not hard to believe. My door strikers were re aligned and the dealer put a couple scratches in my paint.

Did the dealer replace the tail pipe?
