I think it's like $26 from another poster. I want one just in case I take it off. Probably should've bought a spare one first. Lol.

Thanks for clarifying. The owner of the pics and I have the same tow hook license plate mount. I want to cover up my hole, but do not want to drill through my original cover

I am trying to go without one too but every time I see a cop I get nervous.

I wish someone could explain the need to have 2 plates?!?!

Probably so someone could identify you from the front if necessary.
I didn't want to have that same feeling so I went with the front plate. I already have tinted front windows and will eventually lower the car, add wheels, etc. so I really don't want to give the cops another reason to pull me over.
Also, the meter maids in SF can be really tough. They'll give you a $150 ticket for not having a front plate (even if you're legally parked).

You can easily attach your license plate to the grill using butterfly type hollow wall fasteners.

It's just a fix it ticket. usually cost you $20-$25 to let a Chp or Sheriff check your car that you put the front license plate back. Parking enforcement ticket is also $25 for no front plate in Los Angeles but they can't give it to you if you're parked legally. And if they do they are breaking department policy and they can get in trouble. It's a California law. I think there's only a few states with that law.
