Default 2015 wheel set up help

Hi all, I just got my 2015 white IS 350 and I'm looking to change the wheels and was wondering what staggered set up you guys recomend. I'm looking at the Vossen CV3 Matte Graphite. I don't want to lower the car but want it to have the look that it is. I'm willing to got to 20" wheels but not too much of a low profile tire as I don't want to compromise the ride or "feel the road", or for it to rub/scrape. I also want keep the quiet ride. Or maybe 19" set up is best. Any suggestions???

If u want a more comfortable ride, go with 19” since your tire sidewall will be larger. 19x9 +35 and 19x10.5 +45 will give u a nice staggered flush look without rubbing. Just a heads up, your car will look like a monster truck with the new wheels and tires even though the rolling diameter will remain OEM based upon the tire you choose. Most on the forum will tell you to lower the car a bit to prevent this.

Anyone have pictures of 19".wheels without lowering?

Also would you do 235 35 19 or 225 30 19. I'm contemplating because the 235 increases ride height and 225 has a very small sidewall.

If a 19" set up is going to make me lower the car to avoid the "monster truck look" which I don't want, would 20" wheels with 35's all the way around work without rubbing?

Same with 20” without lowering. The larger the wheel, the worse it tends to look. As for rubbing, it depends upon a lot of factors: wheel width, tire size, offset, and how low you are.

Here's my setup before loweringAttachment 362479 235-35-19 front 265-30-19 rear. Hope this helps. Car is also AWD

Default Springs suggestion

I'm looking to lower my 2015 IS350 after getting some 20" wheels. Looking to drop it a little over an inch. What are the best springs that will not compromise the handling and smoothness of the ride?

Very happy with RSR Downs on my IS (1.2"/1.0" f/r) , virtually the same ride comfort as OEM with improved cornering/less body roll.

+1 happy with my RSR Downs as well. Ride would be slightly stiffer than stock I'd say, but gotta love less body roll and the nose dive being significantly reduced when braking hard.

LexSense, I agree on the slightly stiffer comment and to help quantify, I'd say no more than 5% stiffer overall.

Then when I went to the 19" and 35s front and 30s rear, it got slightly more stiff, now about 10% stiffer, but never punishing.

Does anybody know if the Lexus dealership will void warranty if I put lowering springs?
