I started noticing about a year ago that when I drive my car, it pull to the right. This occurs at any speed. Every time I've gone in for service, I've asked them about this and multiple customer service reps have basically said "that's how this type of car drives". I've had them actually check the alignment as well, and only a couple of times have they had to adjust it, but it still seems to pull towards the right.

Anyone else feeling this or agree with the rep's explanation?

It's normal for stateside cars to pull to the right slightly as that's how they've been designed to do. It's a safety feature.

If I recall, it's so that if you fall asleep on the wheel or are distracted - you wouldn't crash into oncoming traffic.

Roads are built with slant to the right to drain water when it rains. slight drifting is normal.

+1 ^ I notice it more on the mountain roads than city roads but all roads lean right or peak in the middle of a 2 lane road leaving the left lane to lean left.....proper draining or to put cars to the stay awake rumble strip who cares.... It's annoying haha

I don't think it's normal for your car to pull to right. My IS does this but another non Lexus car doesn't do this. I know there are road crown for storm water drainage but it shouldn't pull that much. Your car is probably out of alignment just like my IS350 from factory.

It is an alignment issue.

I replaced my car's tires from dunlop to hankook and suddenly the car started pulling to the right. After talking to the dealer he said this car needs an alignment after every tire change. Anyway I returned to the dunlops and the car surprisingly stopped pulling to the right!

Thanks everyone! I actually brought my car into the service center today (for another issue) but also asked them to check on the alignment again.

Side note: other issue was battery... probably should start another thread for this, but my battery has already died 4 times in the last year. Noticed it has only happened when I've either parked the car outside over night or when it gets particularly cold (California cold... which is not much). Each time, just jumping it has worked.
