Yes pretty straight forward... But used some bolts instead of clips to make more rigid...

Im ordering the diffuser tomorrow. Will decide when I get it if I wrap it or not. I have a spoiler from ebay that's matte black but think I will paint it gloss black. My car is USB.

Sounds like there might be some interest in STILLEN making a rear diffuser for the 3IS

i would be interested in see what stillen comes with...especially if it resembles the seibon rear! just playin, I like the simplicity of the front splitter, but really wouldn't mind something similar they made for the maxima and q50 for the aft.

Just saying....
And I love my Seibon carbon diffuser :-)
This is a really good idea. I was thinking about doing something similar by wrapping the Stillen lip in gloss black if I get it. I love the carbon finish on the Seibon diffuser. The issue for me is that I want the Stillen lip design in carbon finish to match the Seibon diffuser. I might just get them both and have them wrapped in gloss black to match my roof and mirrors...

yupp...that's my dilemma! but I think it would be a waste to paint or wrap over carbon fiber! hopefully stillen makes a rear diffuser. I like the ones they made for the maxima and q50. it think that style would look mean on the 3is.

Bro, I hear you!! I'd feel bad vinyl wrapping that beautiful carbon fiber finish too. I've already waited this long, so I think I'll wait a little bit longer to see if Stillen releases something... That Q50 diffuser is simple but super clean, which is what I like about their lip over the Seibon lip.

Is this the diffuser you're referring to?

If so, that's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for!!

yes. that's one of them. the other one for the other model is pretty much the same thing, just made to fit its bumper. I would love to have that diffuser to go along w/ the front splitter they already make.

I'm already waiting...haha. I don't know if mark from stillen has been keeping up with this thread, but hopefully he sees that there is interest in a rear diffuser and it comes to fruition. I think I will start a thread poll and hopefully there's enough input and he takes note of it. only time will tell!

Then why not just get the Seibon one... everyone here is looking for one like the carbon but not carbon fiber
