Default Fuel Level Sensor

Just wondering if anybody had this problem.

I filled my tank full at Costco, turned on the car and it still shows low fuel. Drove for 2 miles and it still didn't go up. Went back to Costco to talk to the manager and they never had this problem before so I tried filling it up again to make sure it actually has a full tank in it and it sure did have a full tank. Dealer services were closed at 7pm so I just said **** it and drove. After 5 miles, the tank level started going up (took one sec to go from low fuel to full tank). I'll consider this a hick-up because normally it reads the full tank right when I turn on the car after filling it up. Next time it happens again, I will make an appointment at the dealership.

My Gen 2 IS350 had a problem of not showing more than 3/4 full with a full tank. Dealership disconnected battery and everything worked fine after reconnecting battery.

I almost decided to disconnect/reconnect the battery, but I gave it a chance. Probably not worth losing my current settings if it is just a hick-up. I'm just going to be optimistic for my next fill up.

Sound like same situation I had.
Had that happen to me once like 6months ago. I thought i was losing it and totally forgot to kick pump to pump so i tried to pump again but it was topped off. drove out of gas station concerned but what could i do at that point. As soon as I got on the freeway 5-6 miles down it fixed it self.
I caulked it up for having the car sit for 2-3 months before i filled it up being the reason. hasnt happened to me since.

Was so weird seeing the needle move up slowly like a heath bar in a video game replenishing haha.
