Default Ride quality different after spacers?

Hey guys,

I installed 25mm in the front & 20mm in the rear hub-centric spacers on my is350 lowered on RS-R down springs (installed 2 weeks ago), and I feel like after installing the spacers my ride quality became very strange. The ride feels more disconnected and kind of bouncy. Anyone else with spacers experienced this? It looks amazing with spacers so I don't want to get rid of them =/

Thanks!!

Same as above, I believe it felt more planted around the corners actually due to the wider stance. But as far as bouncy goes - that would probably be more due to the springs as they are slightly more stiffer than stock.

It's weird. My ride felt great with the springs but after this spacers it changed a lot for the worse. It is hubcentric spacers, but I got the full set from Amazon for $120 so they're not the really high quality ones. Do you think that makes a difference ? I don't experience any vibration though.

I would say it does feel disconnected. I noticed it immediately after driving away from installing. I had spacers on my Evo X and felt no difference in the ride quality, but then again thats an evo not a lexus.

Which spacers are you running?

Hmm, sounds more like an effect of the springs + OE struts.

Don't believe the spacers should have influence. I've run spacers from Project Kics to eBay no-names, had no issues as long as they were hubcentric.

I haven't gotten an alignment yet... do you think that plays a role?

Thanks!

I didn't use a torque wrench so I'll try that out and see if it changes anything. Thanks!

Why not just remove the spacers temporarily and rule them out? There shouldn't be a reason to absolutely need them unless running an over the top wheel/tire combo.

Got any pics? Did you lower it? Any issues since then after the install?

Thanks,
