Default Trash Bin / Trash Can for car?

Just wondering, what trash bin or trash box do you have for your car? I have one trash bin, and i place it under my leg when driving... however when i do my brakes, the trash just sprays all over the place................... i tried to make an wire or a strap to hold it down, but didn't work too well either.

I wouldn't store any trash in my car for more than a couple of hours. It's a bad habit I used to do in my old Honda. I throw away trash asap.

Having that trash is pointless.
Maybe a better solution is to use a trash bag which hangs at the back of the right passenger seat. I know it is sometimes inconvenient to reach it, but the car will be much cleaner.

I agree the best solution is not to keep trash inside the car, because some of trash material will disintegrate into non healthy gases. However if he needs to keep the trash until the end of the ride I guess it is ok.

Is this post serious? I promise I'm not trying to be rude but really....throw your trash out when you get out of your car. This is just pure laziness.

I use one of those pop-up type trash cans and keep it on the mat with my umbrella behind the driver seat or passenger seat. I never have anyone in the back seat so it doesn't get in the way. There is no eating at all or drinking without covered containers so I really never have "trash" per se. It's just something to hold tissues or paper type trash until my next fill up.

guess some of you guys don't have kids yet. with them, there's always going to be some kind of trash...haha. just use a plastic grocery bag and when you get to your final destination throw it out. neat trick right?

I got one of those plastic cereal containers from the dollar store, put a grocery bag in it, snap the lid on to hold it in place. Now when I have garbage I just flip open the opening for pouring out the cereal, stuff the garbage in, flip it back down. No mess, no smell.
