2015 IS here .... This past weekend I was over at a friend's place. Out of the blue, my Lexus Enform alerts me that my doors are unlocked and my trunk was open. I think someone is breaking into my car so I run outside and I'm out looking at my car (which is parked in a high rise building garage) within 30 seconds of the alert .. and nothing. The parking lot was silent, wasn't even any cars around me. My driver door was unlocked, and the trunk was open (not actually up and fully opened, just cracked as if i had pushed the trunk button).

I lock the car .. this time I used the lock button on the inside of the car door and lock the vehicle. About 15 minutes later, my Enform app goes off again, same thing of driver door unlocked and trunk open. Run back out there, again no one in the garage and no cars around. At this point I was leaving so I left and drove somewhere else ... it hasn't happened again in the 2 days since.

Side note: I've had a couple times, both in dry and wet conditions, where I've reached my hand in the handle to get into the vehicle and it freaks out and keeps beeping and just locking the vehicle. I've had unlock it from the remote fob, and reach around from the back seat to unlock it on the inside.


Anyone heard of this? I'm going to call the dealership today ... I'm afraid taking it in will do no good since they won't be able to reciprocate the issue.

I've never heard of this but I have heard of Lexus accidentally programming keys to different owners. Meaning, another owner may have their Enform programmed to your car and its triggering yours.

Not stating that's exactly what's happening, but just a thought
