Hey guys. So I'm just putting my summer wheels back on and I ran my winters without sensors so had the light ect. When I put the summers back do I need to reset the seniors or will they just automatically pick back up again once I drive? I see in the manual there is a reset button under the dash but I just been under there for 20mins and for the life of me can't find it.

Everything should be back to normal once the sensor are back on the car.

And just FYI, the reset button is pretty far near the brake pedal under the dash.

Were you able to get the reset button to work? I followed the instructions in the manual and it did nothing. I'm still stuck driving with the light on. I don't understand why they wouldn't allow 2 sets, especially on an AWD car with all the cold weather features. It's such a pain in the butt, even a cheap Honda Fit from more than 5 years ago support 2 sets of sensors.

It used to support two sets of sensors for the 2nd gen IS and later, Lexus has decided to change it to just a reset button. Reason that I have heard is some issues with two sets as it got confused sometimes.

No I couldn't find the button. But after filling them with air and driving for 10mins the car found them again and my light went off.

Page 413. You have to push the seat all the way back, get under the dash. There are 2 small buttons, the one on the left is the one you want.

Mine continuously blinks when the ignition switch is on so I don't even know if it should stay constant on or not. Holding the reset button doesn't cause it to blink any slower so I can't tell if it's working or not. I tried it anyway and it did absolutely nothing.

It's BS that having two sets will confuse it sometimes. I've had two sets in my dad's MDX, my wife's RDX, and my old Honda Fit commuter for years without any problem. It either works or it doesn't. All the ECU has to do memorize the location and the sensor's ID. Store 2 IDs in one location. They're either lazy or they cheap out and bought a cheaper ECU from the supplier.

What does the Reset button do, in the manual it says we would need to inflate our tires and then press the button and then fill it up with air? What are the exact steps for reseting the tpms sensors? Please explain. Thanks again in advance!

Yes, it was a STUPID f'ing decision from Lexus. Seriously, they should get their heads examined. Idiots.

The pic two posts above is the location of the button on the IS. All 3IS have a reset button inthe same location.
To give you some reference points in the pic...the OBD II connector is to the left of the button, if you turn your head sideways to the left.
The green item you see below the button is part of the parking brake pedal assembly.
The white ducting to the right of the button is the foot vent for the driver.
Hopefully that narrows it down to where the button is located.
