I switch from BMW and there is a Esys software that can change the parameter of the car setting. It connects to the car using the ODB cable.
Does Lexus also have the similar software? I would like to change some setting of the car which is not available on the screen, for example, 1) only dip the passenger side mirror when reserve, 2) LED DRL would stay ON as the parking lights even after I shut down the car, 3) able to open and close the windows using the key...etc.

+1 on Carista App off of the Google Play Store or IOS Equivalent.

Haven't heard of anyone hacking the software otherwise for further customization.

Although it would be nice if we could somehow get at the source code and change things like gauge cluster color, theme color choices, etc.
(after-all the LCD is perfectly capable of displaying different colors lol, just can't modify the color values.)

Meh, just a programmer's dream of course lol...

Carista app is pretty good. I didn't know there was an option to change the clicking turn signal sound louder. App cost 19.99 if you want to change setting, it won't let you save your setting in the free version.

Thanks, the app looks good, I need to get a wifi obd 2 cable to get it works. I only have a LAN to Obd cable.....seems it also support iOS as well.

Hi guys, yes, you can use Carista to customize "dealer-only" settings on your Lexus without the dealer

Note that you need a Bluetooth OBD adapter for Android or a WiFi OBD adapter for iOS.

The app has an in-app purchase ("Pro Package") which currently costs $19.99 USD and allows you to change setting values and perform diagnostics on all ECUs in the car.
