Default Cusco stuct bar will fit 2014 IS350 f sport model???

Hi I was planning on getting the front cusco stuct bar for my 2014 IS350 f sport model. I know it fits the 2IS models but not sure if it would fit the 3IS. Would anyone happen to know if it will fit or have tried it on the 3IS before. This is the one I want.

Was it a direct fit or did you have to do some adjustment to have it fit corrrectly? Since i have the 350 f sport RWD with the avs.

Cusco will say yes....but it doesn't

There are threads in the 2iS as well. The bar crated ripples in my hood, as well didn't fit right on both sides. ( 4 finger gap on pass side / 2 finger gap on drivers side ). Likewise, it misaligned my hood. I'm going to nix the bar for now. No real gain in handelingn. and yes, my avs works fine.

I have the tanabe and you have to adjust before closing your hood. It's not as simple as bolting it on and then shutting the hood.

I'm not sure if you're the same individual i helped over the phone with the install. he was also from MD. but anway...maybe this will help.

Cusco HQ here in hungtington beach CA used my car for the test fit. Actually...the truth is i bought it as a christmas present for my friend's 2IS and while we were installing it i was curious if it fit on my 3rd gen and it did. perfectly. panel wise i havent found any front structural differences yet between the 2nd gen and my 3rd gen IS. so anyway....went to cusco and they were kind enough to test fit another one and they were just as shocked. All of the R&D happens in Japan so this was a cool find. Can't say the same for the rear strut bar but thats for another thread.

simplified instructions...
  1. remove everything!!
  2. including the huge black washers that lie in between the AVS housing and the car itself
  3. loosen the plate bolts so that the strut plates swing freely enough to maneuver it into place
  4. the strut bar plates need to lay flat on the car without any hindrance
  5. tighten the strut bolts to 49lbs
  6. re-install AVS module if applicable (cover will obsolete)

I've installed two of these already with no hood issues.

Indeed its me. I'll text you the pics that I have. Im working with cusco now to resolve. Aparently, b2 designs has the same issues with 3-4 customers and custco deemed it was a bad batch. I hope to get this resolved. Car is in the shop getting hood worked on now.

Hi guys! Well I have just received the bar today, and its a prefect fit! I ordered mines directly from japan from ebay for $200 shipped. So you shouldn't have any issues fitting on it. I forgot to mention, it was on my IS350 RWD f sport. I don't have an image of it since Im getting the part where its blue, Im getting painted it red since Im not a fan of blue.

Thanks r0shiro!
